Tatum Johnson
Tatum Johnson found rugby in 2012 as a seventh grader and quickly fell in love with the game. She played throughout middle and high school, competing at the youth level until graduating in 2017. That same year, she continued her rugby journey at the collegiate level, playing from 2017 to 2022 and developing not only as a player, but as a leader and student of the game.
While in college, Tatum also gave back to the rugby community through coaching, working with Atlanta Youth Rugby to support coed teams ranging from 5U to 18U. These early coaching experiences deepened her passion for the sport and sparked an interest in mentorship and player development.
Now back home in Minnesota, this marks Tatum’s first official year coaching in her home state. She’s excited to step into a new role on the sidelines and is grateful for the opportunity to contribute to a sport that has profoundly shaped her life. Tatum brings a spirit of humility and curiosity to her coaching—eager to keep learning, growing, and helping to inspire the next generation of players both on and off the pitch.
