  • Term: Until Annual General Meeting (end of current year)
    The Head of Fundraising is responsible for developing and coordinating the club’s fundraising efforts to support operations, travel, gear, and events. This individual will lead the strategy for club-wide fundraising campaigns, identify new revenue opportunities, and steward relationships with donors, sponsors, and community partners. The Head of Fundraising does not need to execute all fundraising activities alone but is accountable for ensuring they are staffed, planned, and completed. They will work closely with the Treasurer to set and track fundraising goals and ensure compliance with financial reporting.

    The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and comfortable communicating with a variety of audiences, including local businesses and supporters.

    Responsibilities:

    • Develop and manage a seasonal fundraising strategy and calendar

    • Organize and oversee club fundraisers (e.g. raffles, merch sales, bar events, community drives)

    • Solicit donations and sponsorships from individuals, organizations, and businesses

    • Maintain sponsor/donor recognition and communication

    • Coordinate a team of fundraising assistants or volunteers as needed

    • Work with Treasurer to report revenue and track income against goals

    • Provide fundraising updates at club meetings

    • Ensure fundraising events and efforts are publicized appropriately

    • Conduct a post-fundraiser evaluation for major efforts

  • Term: Until Annual General Meeting (end of current year)
    The Head of Recruiting is responsible for designing and executing recruitment initiatives to bring new players to the Twin Cities Amazons. They serve as the primary point of contact for potential new members, oversee outreach efforts, and coordinate with players and captains to ensure a smooth onboarding experience. The Head of Recruiting may delegate outreach or event staffing but is accountable for planning and performance of recruitment efforts.

    The ideal candidate is enthusiastic, approachable, and passionate about growing the sport and fostering a welcoming team environment.

    Responsibilities:

    • Create and implement recruitment plans each season

    • Coordinate recruitment events (e.g. Rugby Day, tabling, clinics, outreach to gyms or colleges)

    • Respond to inquiries from prospective players and guide them through joining

    • Collaborate with captains and team leads to support onboarding and player retention

    • Maintain communication lists and track recruitment outcomes

    • Appoint recruitment assistants or volunteers as needed

    • Work with Communications to publicize recruitment events and campaigns

    • Build relationships with local teams, schools, and organizations to create pipelines

    • Report recruitment progress at club meetings

    • Conduct post-season review and identify growth areas

  • Term: Until Annual General Meeting (end of current year)
    The Social/Events Coordinator is the club’s project manager for all major social events, responsible for planning and coordinating activities such as post-match socials, team gatherings, and seasonal events like the holiday party. While not expected to execute every detail alone, this role ensures that all volunteers understand their tasks and timelines, and that each event is executed smoothly and successfully. The Social/Events Coordinator also tracks attendance when appropriate and fills in when events fall outside the scope of other officer roles.

    The ideal candidate is organized, communicative, and proactive in rallying others to contribute to a fun and engaging team culture.

    Responsibilities:

    • Develop and manage an event calendar for the season

    • Coordinate post-match socials, seasonal gatherings, and special events

    • Recruit and manage social/event assistants or volunteers

    • Maintain and utilize event planning checklists

    • Create event budgets and track actual income/expenses with Treasurer

    • Ensure timely and effective promotion of events

    • Send invitations and collect RSVPs when applicable

    • Coordinate resources and logistics (venues, supplies, food, etc.)

    • Conduct a post-event debrief to identify improvements for future events

    • Represent the club’s social culture and values in all planning efforts

  • Term: Until Annual General Meeting (end of current year)
    The Equipment and Apparel Coordinator manages the procurement and maintenance of the club’s physical gear and merchandise. They are responsible for gathering player input on styles and designs, soliciting quotes, placing orders, and coordinating with vendors to ensure quality and timely delivery. This role also tracks club-owned items like balls, pads, and uniforms to ensure availability and upkeep for practices, matches, and events.

    The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, creative, and fiscally responsible, with strong communication and vendor management skills.

    Responsibilities:

    • Solicit quotes and place orders for club gear and apparel (e.g. jerseys, shorts, socks, balls, flags)

    • Gather team input on styles, designs, and preferences

    • Track club-owned equipment and ensure availability at trainings, matches, and events

    • Maintain records of apparel sales and inventory

    • Coordinate the distribution of gear to players and staff

    • Communicate order timelines and delivery expectations

    • Work with Treasurer to manage budget and report spending

    • Serve as the point of contact for vendors and negotiate favorable pricing

    • Ensure that unsold or unused inventory is stored appropriately

    • Support the visibility and brand identity of the Amazons through thoughtful apparel choices
